GlimmerGlass Eclipse

Eclipse is a beautiful true black 3/4 Peruvian,1/2 Accoyo male with lovely dense fine fiber! He has a gorgeous head, heavy bone and terrific conformation. His sire, Pperuvian Terror, and grandsire, Ppperuvian Pisco Sour contributed some wonderful characteristics to this boy while his color comes from his dam, Onyx. We are excited to be able to offer Eclipse at stud -a rare commodity, a true black 1/2 Accoyo!

A word about his sire, Pperuvian Terror. We were fortunate to be able to acquire Terror in 1999 from Hemlock Brooks Alpacas. We suspected that he represented some unusual genetics and anxiously awaited his first crias. We were not disappointed! 100% color when bred to color! Dense, fine fiber - beautiful heads and heavy bone. Everything you could ask for in a herd sire! Last year, Terror was sold to Belleauwood Farm and Magical Farm. Libby Forstner confirmed out suspicions - 100% Accoyo from the elite 2nd importation!! Not just Accoyo, but an Accoyo with fewer than 50 cria on the ground! He represents an extremely rare gene pool.
