Shepherd's Pasture Vashti

Vashti is a gorgeous medium brown suri sired by the illustrious Captain Morgan and out of Delicata Sunrise. Her show career was nothing less than spectacular. Five times she was named Champion or Reserve Champion including AOBA 2004 and the Futurity 2005! Her breeding career promises to be just as great! In partnership with Carpe Diem Alpaca Ranch, we were able to purchase Vashti at the 2005 Futurity and then watch her win her class and color championship! We thought it couldn't get better than that - but it did! In the fall, Vashti delivered her first cria - a true black female sired by PVA Mahogony Prince!! Not a bad foundation for a suri breeding program!

In October, Vashti delivered her second cria - a gorgeous boy sired by the illustrious male, Moon River's Peruvian Durango, a seven time champion during his show career! We named him Quasar which means an object of brilliant illumination. We can't wait to watch him shine!
