Phoenix is a lovely dark brown proven female with all the bells and whistles. Her sire, Pperuvian Terror, was a little known Accoyo import with an ability to carry lots of color through the dam to the cria. His progeny have very dense fleece, square builds and lots of heavy bone. Phoenix is no exception. Her crias have exceptional fiber characteristics, density and strong conformation. Her 2009 cria - Tribute - may be the best yet! He carries strong bone, excellent conformation and fabulous fiber. It's a very interesting color. Registered as light fawn, he also has spots of darker fawn giving him an "appaloosa" appearance. I believe his fiber will test out at under 20 microns.
Phoenix is an exceptional mother with an abundant supply of milk and strong protective instincts toward her cria. She's getting a little older but still settles easily and births without assistance. She'll provide a new breeder a strong foundation of color and genetics in addition to terrific fiber characteristics.
