At GlimmerGlass Alpacas, we offer our clients the opportunity to board (agist) their alpacas. Not every alpaca owner chooses to purchase a farm and raise their alpacas on site. If alpacas are strictly an investment for you, then it may suit your purpose to board your animals.
We offer board in a safe environment with the same attention to detail that we provide our own alpacas. Routine care is included in the agistment fee, insurance is required, extraordinary veterinary fees are at the expense of the owner. Stud services are available at reduced rates and “birthwatch” as well as neonatal care will be provided when necessary. We work closely with our veterinarian and have access to an experienced camelid vet as well as the services of Cornell University.
